Frequently Asked Questions
What types of Chairs do you buy and Sell?
We focus mainly on high quality, name brand ergonomic office chairs from brands such as Herman Miller, Haworth, Steelcase, Knoll, Nightingale, Hag, Ergocentric, Teknion, Raynor, Humanscale and Secret Lab. For a more complete list of models, check out the “Models we buy/sell” tab on our home page
Can I try a chair out before buying?
Yes! Our showroom in Coquitlam has a variety of chairs at different price ranges that are all viewable and can be tried out at the same time. I mean, these are ergonomic chairs we’re talking about. The only way you’ll know for sure that a chair works for you is to sit in it!
Are all of your chairs used?
Most of the chairs we have in our inventory are pre-owned, but usually we will have a couple brand new chairs from different models thrown into the mix. Every adjustment on every chair is tested to ensure the best quality products.
Do your chairs come with warranty?
This one comes down to the individual manufacturer of the chair, you’d have to check their website to be sure.
Do you do delivery?
Yes! We deliver anywhere in the lower mainland for a small fee. Prices depend on how close you are to Coquitlam
Our office is closing, would Swivel Spot buy all of the chairs from us?
If the chairs are all from the brands listed above then chances are very good we could give a cash offer for all of them. We take care of picking up and moving the chairs to make the process as easy as possible
Is Swivel Spot open to buying or selling just a single chair instead of a group?
Yes, absolutely! This is actually our bread and butter, we love dealing with individuals who are upgrading their home office
What chairs do you have right now?
This is a tough one because our inventory is always changing. Send a message with information about what type of chair you’re looking for (brand/model/price point/colour or any details you think are important) and we’ll get right back to you. You can also set up an appointment to come see them in person - trying them out to see which one fits you best is better than just looking at pictures on the internet :)
